Meet the Jira agent that runs your delivery rituals
Every team has delivery rituals. The daily standup, the weekly health check, the stakeholder update – they keep everyone aligned, but they also eat time. Someone has to pull the board, find the blockers, write the summary, and send it out. Then do it all again next week.
Now Jira does it for you. With the new out-of-the-box Jira Delivery Agent and three pre-built, AI-powered automation templates are ready to go in the Summary view of your Jira space. Set them up once and the agent will run on schedule, read your work, and send the right update to the right people. You just show up to the standup.

Head to the Summary view in your Jira space and you'll find three ready-to-use automation templates:

The engine behind all three is the Jira Delivery Agent, a new Jira built-in AI agent, powered by Rovo. It reads across your work items, spots delivery signals (stalled work, slipping deadlines, ownership gaps), and writes updates tailored to the right audience. You can also chat with it directly in Rovo Chat, or assign it to individual work items for a quick read on demand.
How to get started
Find the automations in the Summary view of your Jira space. Here's how to set one up:
Make sure you're ready to go. You'll need Confluence on your site, Rovo enabled, and the Jira Delivery Agent, which comes out-of-the-box (no installation required).
Open the Summary view in any Jira space and look for the automations section.
Select an automation – either Daily Standup, Delivery Health Check, or Stakeholder Status Summary – and follow the setup prompts.
Choose where to send it, like Slack or a Confluence page. Then, set your schedule.
Turn it on and your first output will land on the next scheduled run.
Good to know:
Confluence and Rovo access are required to see the automations in the Summary view.
