New: more integrations for creating Jira work

So much work starts in other places – Gmail, Confluence, Loom, Microsoft Teams, Slack – and never quite makes it into Jira. Now, you can use Rovo to turn the messages and pages you’re already working in into Jira work items, complete with clear summaries and descriptions, in just a few clicks.

How it works

Capture work where it starts

From chat to pages to email, you can now create Jira work items from your existing tools. Select a message, a Gmail thread, or a Confluence or Loom link, and let Rovo pull in the context to generate a structured work item – no copy-paste, no tab-hopping.

Let AI handle the details

Rovo uses the surrounding context (like conversation history or page content) to generate a summary and description for each work item, with formatting that matches the way you work. You can review and edit before creating to ensure every work item is ready for your team to take action.

Get started

You can now create work items from more supported tools.

  • From your integration source (Slack, Microsoft Teams, Gmail), choose the option to create a work item in Jira. Note: some integration sources may still refer to Jira issues. Same thing!

  • Or in your Jira space, hit Create → Work item and paste a Confluence or Loom link.

  • Review Rovo’s suggestions, edit as needed, and create your work item with a click.
